Well this is awkward, I've actually forgotten to post. I finally got holidays now. Lots of different sounds have gotten through my speakers. The tune called Shamrock was a positive surprise for me, since I must admit that I like folk music and that tune combined dubstep and folk(plus going over genre "boundaries" like that is far from my favorite). For example, metal + basically anything. I got nothing against people trying new stuff, that's what music's all about but some times, just, no.

YES. Looking forward to see the tracklist on this one.

Thursday, 8 December 2011

I was gonna write a review about the new Skream and Benga EP, but that's gonna be for the weekend. Got some lovely eyes down dubstep and a slow drum and bass tune(gotta love the people who say it was dubstep).

This one is for my mum:

And this one is for the Skyrim heads:

Monday, 5 December 2011

Dubstep season is starting for me. Last couple of days it's been Burial and Horsepower Productions. Eyes down, cold, orange street lights, trees, darkness and now snow. Snow is the only thing I dislike with winter, I got nothing against coldness though.

Friday, 2 December 2011

10 internet points for the one who have used this track and sampled it. I was a bit surprised when I heard it for the first time since I didn't know the artist liked this kinda stuff. This other tune is a classic one for me. Had it on my ipod for ages.

Wednesday, 30 November 2011

Am I the only one who is scared that it's gonna be some really bad made brostep remix every time I see the word remix on youtube nowadays? Well, this song pleasantly surprised me! It's a bit interesting how I found Bonobo. I'm a huge fan of both Japan and London(thinking about traveling to London some time soon) and I was watching a video about Japanese tattooing(which I also have been thinking about, sometime in the future) and this song was playing in the background.

Also, exams over so expect more posts. Not doing a fucking thing today(except for going to the gym).

Tuesday, 29 November 2011

This tune got on when I was walking home. It dark and I could see the mist coming over the field. On my left I had a big and dark wood. Shivers went down my spine.

Monday, 28 November 2011

Basically the stuff that has been going through my headphones the latest days. 3 more exams to go.

Tuesday, 22 November 2011

Stress. I haven't slept properly for weeks and now I got exams.

The Chinese one starts at at ~1.45 and please watch the whole Korean one. Also, please try to listen to Drake tune. I dislike Drake nowadays, but he has had some pretty good tracks back in the day! So many tunes, so little time. P.S Looking into the keys when playing piano = sign of a genius playing.

Sunday, 20 November 2011

I have written a paper on modernism(the music). There are some complete mindfuck tunes(but Cage got some good track), I kid you not even though they are the fathers of electronic music. Some times you gotta listen to some music you usually wouldn't listen to.

And here's a little something for my mother(whom dislikes folk music but I some how like):

Tuesday, 15 November 2011

Now that beat is addicting, however the whole tune is a bit repetetive.

Deep.

Wednesday, 9 November 2011

Got bare memories with Jeru the Damaja. It should be like a year ago or so since I featured this one. I used to listen to this when I went to the bus in the mornings, but funnily enough I don't have much memories(music wise) from when I was walking home. First thing that pops into my mind is the graveyard which I used to run through, snow, my bus and a really nice oldschool tag that said "ICE". Jeru the Damaja and Jedi Mind Tricks both bring me me on that nostalgic trick.

P.S Larging up my man from the UK. Nice to see some new chill hip hop produced.

P.S.S I really need to feature some more dubstep.

Monday, 7 November 2011

K-Dub Shine is a boss. Seriously. Lots of other good tracks but this one is special. Along with Latin and Arabian, I want to learn Japanese too. I remember when I was a hardcore 100% metalhead and never thought I'll ever listen to electronical music and rap. Now I sit with 10 tabs open on my browser with only rap. I can still listen to good metal but I was really angry at the scene because of its close-mindedness. With internet and such nowadays, I don't understand why you would only try to listen to one genre.

P.S Fuck that K-Koke tune is DEEP.

P.S.S I promise I'm gonna try to get some dubstep to my blog, if any one want to hear any.

Saturday, 5 November 2011

Business time. I can still remember the first time I heard this tune. I have this thing that every time I listen to a track I imagine stuff, like I paint in my head. When I hear this tune I can see the East London, people in a dark room at Rinse bopping their head to this banger. This track is dark, and I like it. I've listened to all sorts of black metal, death metal, hip hop with nasty lyrics but this track is still the most evil tune I've ever heard.

This second tune is a bit different but still Skream. It's dark, heavy rhythm and percussion.

Larging up Skream.

Now I'm off to dance practice. Yeah, I dance, come at me bro.

Wednesday, 2 November 2011

Such an unrated hip-hop group. 7L & E is up there with the legends in my opinion.

A bit of a specialty for me. I actually heard this thanks to school. We had a "bring your favorite tune" type of thing on a class and a guy brought this one.

Dungeon sound

Perverse - Tepidus (free download) by Perverse

Heavy. Bit different from the other dungeon sound, which sadly is getting a bit boring and repetitive now. I mean, I still feel this one(big as fuck). But overall, I don't like the "dungeon sound" too much. My main reason is, that it's too non-personal, any one can do it. It sounds like I'm describing the brostep scene. Maybe my knowledge of the dungeon sound-makers are so little that I recognise their sound, but if I put on a Skream or what ever track I can right away hear it.

My emotions are a bit mixed towards the dubstep scene at the moment. There are no tracks "designed" for listening on the go or listening 1pm alone. All tracks are made for a huge flow and you gotta be zoned out to listen to it. You got to have a big system to fully enjoy it. What I'm trying to say is that there is no "lighter" dubstep made anymore. Okay, there is always Burial but I mean, does dubstep have to be so sad all the time?

Some might think now that "well why are you listening to dubstep then, you asshat", well, I like it. No talk about it. It incorporates some of my favorite stuff from all genres. It's heavy, bass-y, emotional and with out vocals. I used to be a huge anti-"non vocal" when I was listening to metal but now I simply don't care. Except when it's about Burials vocal samples, then I'm a little fanboy.

Tuesday, 25 October 2011

Burial

It's kind of weird, since I don't really like this tune. It's messy(as he have said himself) and not properly put together yet I have listened to it every night since it came out. It got that sense of energy that his every tune has. And those vocal samples, god damn!

Burial is a interesting man, is he not? I mean, I can only find one picture of him. One. He never plays gigs or shows up any where. Yet he is a legend. Some times I dream of actually meeting the man behind all this simple yet wonderful music, and ask him some questions. What does actually happen in his mind? Does he actually know that so many people really appreciate his music?

When I showed Burial to my dad he said that this is the kind of music that you "just sit in a dark room at night with your headphones and just listen"-music. Just like he did with Pink Floyd, I do with Burial. Brilliant fucking artist.

Sunday, 16 October 2011

Tuesday, 11 October 2011

Hi. Unsure if I like it or not. I'm gonna give it some time to grow. It's different from Burials other stuff so that might be the reason.

Monday, 11 July 2011

11th July 2011

This blog is closing. I'm not gonna remove it since some might be interested in returning and listening to tunes I've featured before. I have after all written for almost a year now so.

T'was a fun ride.

The bass on this baby is so HUGE. Sub-testing tune competition?

Sunday, 26 June 2011

26th June 2011

The Sorrow tune blew my mind away, didn't expect anything like that(I don't care that it's not dubstep). The black pictures makes it even better since I almost every time "see" something else when I listen to a tune.

Saturday, 25 June 2011

Friday, 24 June 2011

24th June 2011

"Flux" is such an amazing tune, it brought a big smile to my face. "New York Giants" is my favorite get-ready-for-gym track at the moment.

Thursday, 23 June 2011

23rd June 2011

My love for dubstep has been reborn once again. I actually tried making a tune last night.

Wednesday, 22 June 2011

22nd June 2011

More rain and I got outdoor work today. How awesome is that? Also, Immortal Technique might write the best lyrics in the whole hip hop world.

Tuesday, 21 June 2011

21th June 2011

Yes, I can finally see the sun again! I usually got nothing against rain but after 1 week of it, it gets pretty boring.

Sunday, 19 June 2011

19th June 2011

Happy 100th Episode GetDarker! Not much dubstep the latest days, but instead lots of hip hop. Immortal Technique is one of the biggest in my opinion.

Saturday, 18 June 2011

18th June 2011

I found out about Immortal Technique a couple of days ago. Awesome artist and SMART. I usually don't watch the music videos but this unofficial video to Burials "Forgive" is awesome. It's birds(took me a while to figure it out, until I saw it in the description box).

Friday, 17 June 2011

17th June 2011

26 Basslines is so much nostalgia to me. It's not an old track but it was one of my first favorite dubstep tunes. So much energy and those drums. Benga is truly one underrated artist. Also, it's finally stopped raining and it's sunny now. Yesterday when there was thunder in the air, this classic piece of music was cranked from my speakers.

First rainy day this summer. It's cold an not so awesome outside. "Explode" is actually called "Attitude", confirmed by Skream.

There's something so dreamy about the Ramadanman tune. Roska's bringing the dance feeling to it all.

11th June 2011, EP REVIEW

[PL014] _ VESICLE - We Are Lost EP - Vinyl coming June 13th 2011! by ParadiseLostRecordings

New EP coming out from the Finnish duo. Release date: 13th June. The EP(and their other stuff) is wonderfully dark, isn't it? I've heard the "We are lost" track before, but the 3 others were completely new tunes for me. I think, so far, that "Mythos" is my favorite track. Not to keen on the "Redemption" tune, but hey, everyone has different taste. I do also like how they incorporate some newer stuff while still staying true to their "roots", which so many people seem to fail with. If you go on and on doing the same thing, it will get boring. I don't like to see wobbles and "filthier than your grandmas toilet", I really don't, but it's good when you can try out some other/new stuff. Plus, wobbles aren't exactly new in the dubstep(nor electronic) scene. Wait what?

Good stuff, no bad tracks in my opinion. 9/10.

Friday, 10 June 2011

10th June 2011

I just love the old school Tempa vinyls. Also, Amon Tobin is a name that I've seen floating around a lot(in the dubstep scene), even though it's not dubstep. Awesome music nonetheless!

Thursday, 9 June 2011

9th June 2011

Big tune V.I.V.E.K and not Distance, V.I.V.E.K confirmed this himself. Second tune is dedicated to one of my new friends who sadly(yet it's good for him) is moving away, far far away. He is half-Thai, which is I why I chose this track. Awesome beat, would love this hear the track in better quality though.

Wednesday, 8 June 2011

8th June 2011

Arghhh, Phaeleh + Pistonsbeneath. Two so different artists but still so awesome. This shows how broad the dubstep genre is. One side can make you want to skank in darkness, eyes down hands up and the other side is so bright and light.

Tuesday, 7 June 2011

Monday, 6 June 2011

6nd June 2011

Mr Suicide Sheep on youtube gotta be one of my favorite uploaders. SO MANY GOOD TUNES. Plus a old Cotti tune, a really dark one too.

Sunday, 5 June 2011

5th June 2011

Up and coming rap artist. She is only 15 years old. The other tune is from Hyetal, which I have sadly forgotten a bit and I've only listened to his tune "Phoenix" but I think I've learned my lesson now!

Saturday, 4 June 2011

4th June 2011

Looong day, yet rewarding some how. Most students had their closings(is that a word?) so now every student has summer holidays. New rule for this blog: it doesn't need to be a dubstep track in every post, but my goal is to at least have one!

Friday, 3 June 2011

3rd June 2011

There are sooooo many forgotten tunes and artist from the 1999-2002 area. This was the time when dubstep was born. It sounded a lot like UKG yet it didn't. Horsepower Productions are one of my favorite artists. In a way they're like Loefah. Loefah doesn't get much praise, yet he is one of the biggest artists in the game. Everyone knows that he is a awesome artist but so few actually say it.

Thursday, 2 June 2011

2nd June 2011

New V.I.V.E.K. I'm not his hugest fan but his tunes are alright. Good to see some new Deep Medi releases none the less. Next tune is a forgotten one. Listened to this one last night. Awesome.

Wednesday, 1 June 2011

1th June 2011

So, it's starting to be summer. I've noticed how I'm slightly turning away from dubstep when the summer is coming. I don't find it bad but I've started liking hip-hop and garage a lot more thanks to the summer. Do any one remember Prime? He was the first artist I interviewed on this blog.

Tuesday, 31 May 2011

31th May 2011

Found these guys yesterday. Might not be everyones favorite type of music, but PLEASE give it a try. I know that I've had Sahara on my blog before, but this is one dark tune. Mensah is one of those underrated artists that really needs more exposure.

Monday, 30 May 2011

30th May 2011

Objekt is some one who has been getting lots of love, and I don't know why. So I checked them up and I think I understand now. Fresh!

Sunday, 29 May 2011

29th May 2011

MJ Cole is the shit. Some awesome UKG(which is far from my favorite genre). I don't really dislike the UKG, I just have never gotten into it. Lots of people are saying it's gonna do a comeback, would be fun since I didn't know much when UKG was popular. But no dubstep today, but here, have some old school Photek.

Saturday, 28 May 2011

28th May 2011

So, blogspot hasn't been working for 4 days but it works now. I think I'm gonna change site because it has been lots of problems. Anyways, I think I might write an longer article about a pretty common topic in dubstep at the moment. We'll see.

Tuesday, 24 May 2011

24th May 2011

Since I'm visiting my mum, I decided to throw in a tune by one of her favorite artist, namely Burial. Gutted is by far my favorite tune of his, loving the vocal sample in the beginning too. Then Photek, man this track is so simple yet effective. One of my favorite drum and bass tunes, ever.

Oh, two old tracks today, but sometimes you gotta listen to some classics!

Monday, 23 May 2011

23rd May 2011

Some awesome chill music from a Finnish artist! I've been listening to this tune a coupla days now. Liking the video too! I think that I've posted some Mogwai or Explosions in the Sky before but man, it's some awesome music. Check them out if you want some really calm, dreamy yet epic music.

Sunday, 22 May 2011

22nd May 2011

I'm in a hurry, I'm gonna visit my mom today. I will post tunes on my blog everyday but I'm unsure which time I can do it, but I will.

Saturday, 21 May 2011

21th May 2011

Biome's has been floating around a lot. He's in what they call the "dungeon" type of dubstep. Deep. Been coupla days since I had some hip hop on my blog too. Nas is one of new personal favorites. Sad that I found him so late.

Friday, 20 May 2011

20th May 2011

I've said it before and I'm gonna say it again, Goth Trad is one underrated artist. I love his chaotic kind of dubstep, which I guess is from my metal background.

Thursday, 19 May 2011

19nd May 2011

Found two old gems by Skream and Benga. I don't have any idea how many times I've listened to The Judgement. Skream was 17 and Benga was only 16 when they released that track.

Wednesday, 18 May 2011

18th May 2011

Loads of awesome dubs floating around at the moment. Icicle is now definitely on the top of my favorite artist list. Loads of great dubstep and drum and bass. "Anything" has been on my ipod since the day that I found dubstep, and still is.

Tuesday, 17 May 2011

17th May 2011

How could I have missed this one? It was released yesterday, both with the vocals and only the instrumental. Some dislike the vocals, some like it(I do actually like it, because Joker uses her voice like an another instrument!). What do you like more?

Monday, 16 May 2011

16th May 2011

Katacombs is big tune, I love the pirate-y feeling of it. Also, those who follow ice hockey should know that Finland won 6-1 to our "arch enemy" Sweden. Lots of celebrating in Helsinki today, not so much that we won Sweden more like we won after 16 years of losing. This isn't really about dubstep is it now?

Sunday, 15 May 2011

15th May 2011

I found this remix yesterday, and I quite like it. I'm not into the wobbles but I like that he made it "his own"(which I hardly see in remixes nowadays, especially without ruining the song).

I also started making my own tunes yesterday. I will not post any of my own tunes on my blog since my blog isn't made for posting my own tunes, but if you want, you can follow me on soundcloud http://soundcloud.com/axeaman. I know the first track is bad, but hey, it's my first tune I made on a computer.

Saturday, 14 May 2011

14th May 2011

Blogspot wasn't working yesterday, which is why I didn't post yesterday. Well, my school ended yesterday so I was at a party which involved loud music, cars, police and me drunk for the first time in 2 years. I've heard that UKG(UK garage) is making a an "uprise" again, which is cool for me since some how dubstep isn't as good in the summer/spring as in the winter/autumn.

Thursday, 12 May 2011

12th May 2011

Found out about Little Jinder through a Swedish friend(whom is actually a Finn), because they were in the same radio interview. Good voice(both when singing and talking) and the remixes are pretty good too! I couldn't decide which remix to post so, here they are:

Wednesday, 11 May 2011

11th May 2011

I've started to like Pistonsbeneath quite much, sadly I can't so many of his tunes on youtube. It sounds deep, but still very chaotic. Loving the slowed down drums! Next one isn't a tune itself, it's actually a dance! I was skeptical at first but it's pretty good!

Tuesday, 10 May 2011

10th May 2011

RAMP043 / Desto by RAMP Recordings / PTN

a. Glass Clouds
b. Stay Strong
d. Stay Strong (Late Remix)

This EP got released some days ago by the Finn Desto! I love his glitch-y type of sound and massive bass! Next tune is an elder one, but so massive!

Monday, 9 May 2011

9th May 2011

I've noticed that there's a lot of dubstep artists who are trying to do that Kryptic Minds kind of tunes(which are in my opinion big tunes, that simply roll forward with weight. If that makes sense). Nothing wrong with that, I love Kryptic Minds but I would love to see some more lighter stuff. Think Burial and Phaeleh etc. Also, those who are on dubstepforum should recognise Pistonsbeneaths name! Lets see what happens in summer 2011!

Sunday, 8 May 2011

8th May 2011

Some new material from Skream and Hijak. For those who didn't know it, Hijak is actually Skreams older brother. They don't look very alike but they are. Would be fun to do music with my brother too. I was glad when I saw that Mic Righteous have made an video to his freestyle called "Honour and Pride". Great tune and video.

Saturday, 7 May 2011

7th May 2011

I've never been a big Loefah fan(I'm sure there's some one that will call me an idiot for not liking his tunes too much), but damn his tunes are ALWAYS weighty. Next track is a tune that my friend recommended to me.

Friday, 6 May 2011

6th May 2011

One dubstep tune from Shackleton and one garage tune by Hervey Jenkins. Gotta run now. Enjoy.

Thursday, 5 May 2011

5th May 2011

Great tune from Icicle, loving the sample. "Arrows" released on Icicles newest album called "Under the ice", which I should buy since I've only heard the previews so far. Next tune is from a guy who approached me on the dubstepforums. It's a pretty okay track coming from a beginner! It sounds dark and nice.

Wednesday, 4 May 2011

4th May 2011

Unreleased tune from one of my favorite dubstep groups, Kryptic Minds. It goes deeeeep and it has the only wobble I like. They're a ex-drum and bass group, so in honour of that, I've put a drum and bass in this post too! Enjoy!

Monday, 2 May 2011

3rd May 2011

Wow, that sample have given the most gooosebumps to me, ever. That Vex'd tune is the real filth. Might not be in every ones taste, but as an ex-metalhead, it's awesome. Imagine this being dropped in a dark room, heads down, skanking, slowly, just moving to the music.

2nd May 2011

No dubstep today, since I've fallen in love with DJ Krush, but tomorrow!

Sunday, 1 May 2011

1st May 2011

Bigging up the Finnish scene today, "Timekeeper" is in my opinion the tune that's putting the whole scene into one tune(if that makes sense). I met my first random fan yesterday. He just came up to me and said "Hey, are you Aggesmusic?". You know who you are, big up.

Saturday, 30 April 2011

30th April 2011

So, I looked out of my window today. The trees were moving and the sky was black. Two tunes popped into my head. I hope it doesn't rain since we in Finland have a holiday today, which we often celebrate outside.

Friday, 29 April 2011

29th April 2011

Glass by Ampa

Glass is a tune that I've been listening to a lot and I thought that "I'm gonna put this one on the blog" but some how I've forgotten about it. "Stolen shadow" is actually a Deep Medi tune that I haven't seen before. It's really garage-y and a little bit dreamy, good for the summer!

Thursday, 28 April 2011

28th April 2011

I have lost count of how many times I've listened to that tune. It's awesome. I also went back to my dubstep roots yesterday. Skream, Benga and DMZ. The Loefah remix of I is a tune that I've never liked but slowly and steadily I do.

Wednesday, 27 April 2011

27th April 2011

Some unsigned stuff. This tune is really weighty but still a bit too "spacey" for me, big big tune nonetheless. I've also ventured into drum and bass, especially the 90's stuff. So much atmosphere in those ones(sadly the quality on youtube isn't always the best)!

Tuesday, 26 April 2011

26th April 2011

Long time no see. I have missed waking up and just write about two tunes, it might seem like a minor thing but you know, it's the same procedure every "schoolday". I've listened through some of the older tracks on my harddrives, I almost got nostalgic(even with my young age). In my opinion the moving went pretty good, 8 hours of lifting. Needless to say, I couldn't go to the gym that evening haha.

Oh, I almost forgot writing about the tunes. So, the hip hop tune is made by the Japanese trio called Kick the Can Crew. Really nice tune, but I haven't listened to their other tracks. Time spike jamz is weird tune, but it's a fresh breeze into the dubstep scene. Sounds a lot like James Blake, with some Burial and Aphex Twin(weirdly enough) mixed in there!

Saturday, 16 April 2011

16th April 2011

So, I'm gonna have a blogging break till the 26th/27th of April. I'm currently moving house and I am going to be without internet. If you want to ask something, you can hit me up at aggesmusic@hotmail.com since I can check my email in school but I don't have enough time in school to write any blog posts! Oh, if you think the Mic Righteous freestyle is boring, wait until 2.57!

See you at 27th of April!

Friday, 15 April 2011

15th April 2011

Biiiig tune from Coki & Benga! At the moment I'm in a period where not so much dubstep exists. It has been lots of hip-hop coming out from my headphones, for example this one:

Thursday, 14 April 2011

14th April 2011

So, I had a weird problem today, the embedded button on Youtube had disappeared(I thought) but it was just in an another place. I'm writing this in school since I no more text than this, more tomorrow instead.

Wednesday, 13 April 2011

13th April 2011

Today is my birthday, I'm gonna be 17 years old. Gonna take it chill today. Presents so far is a computer game from my brother, some cash from my mother and I'm gonna get a MIDI-keyboard from my dad(so expect to see some of my own work here soon). Also, have I had the Hyetal tune on here before? I thought so, but I can't find it, anyways, an awesome track from a underrated artists!

Tuesday, 12 April 2011

12th April 2011

Okay, late post today. I know my mum have been talking about The XX, so I'm gonna put a track from them here. Not that "deep", but good nonetheless. Then a tune by Roska, not dubstep-y but a lot more funky(which is a genre I've not ventured into). I always thought Roska was a Finn, since he says the watertag like a Finn and Roska means trash on Finnish!

Monday, 11 April 2011

11th April 2011

New week, and it's snowing in Finland. So we got an remix done by Ramadanman and a beautiful drum and bass track. Also, those both pictures of the video look almost the same except for the colours!

Sunday, 10 April 2011

10th April 2011

No dubstep today. I found this Smote tune thanks to Whyrez, since he posted it on his facebook. That's pretty much how I felt when I came home from my 26km long bicycling trip yesterday. Next track is one of my favorite tracks, ever. As some of you might know, I come from more or less 100% metal background. So, if you dislike metal, please skip this tune and listen to the one under it. Summer dreams by Skream, I mean, does it become more summer-y then that?

Saturday, 9 April 2011

9th April 2011

Great, I woke up at 7.44 Finnish time because of the sun is so bright. Ah, can't wait for the summer so, it's all good. So, I've noticed with myself that I've started enjoying a lot of old school music. Not just dubstep, but hip-hop and other electronic music. This Hatcha tunes brings the chills down my spine, really good tune. Same with this Beastie boys remix, sad that the quality is bad!

Old school something? To be honest I don't know what genre Liquid is, but I don't care since it's good. It reminds me one of other tune but I just can't figure what it's called. Next tune, I don't have any clue who Ampa is, I just know that he's from the UK. Great track.

Okay, I've fallen in love with jungle. I mean, how can you not love the energy in that DJ Rap tune? Yesterday was one of them days when I found a lot of new tunes, including this Burial track. Is it only me or does it actually fit when Kode9 speaks over the track? For example, I can't listen to the original "Stolen Dog", I want to listen to the one when he speaks over the tune.

Really awesome chilled out track by Plastician. That man needs to get more people to listen to his music instead of his mixes. After that one we got a jungle track by DJ Rap, doesn't it make you wanna dance? Sad that there is so many genres that have disappeared, including UK Garage and jungle.

4th April 2011

So I worked 2½ hours on a mathematics homework yesterday. Under that time I found some pretty good tunes on the youtube. The untitled tune has some nice skankage going on and Minor is just awesome(plus you can get it for free from the Freeizm album).

Jens Madsen - Elektric by JensMadsen

New tune from my Danish friend. It got the power of a train, and it won't stop for nothing. As some of you might know that I'm not a huge fan of the distorted dubstep but when it has the power and bass like this. Next is a old-school garage remix from El-B. Loving the vocals on that one.

2nd April 2011

A new tune by Jelacee. Loving the samples on this one! Also, my mum wanted me to put something by James Blake here too, and she likes his track called "The Wilhem Scream". Some great diversity from this guy. He's getting a lot of attention this winter. I don't think he is revolutionizing the whole genre, but he is definitely putting out some fresh breezes.

1st April 201

A massive tune by Burial and two old school tracks by Fat Joe. Gotta run now!

Thursday, 31 March 2011

31th March 2011

Not dubstep at all, but great nonetheless. V.I.V.E.K have received a lot of great response after his and Goth Trad's performance after the DMZ 6th birthday, some have said that they even played the best gig there. I was actually a little bit skeptical to his tunes, but once I started to listen to them, they were awesome.

30th March 2011

Wow, Skream has so many tunes! I mean, I could go on and on and on searching for his tunes oon youtube. This one is a bit more special, and not really dubstep-y but it's awesome nonetheless. Next one is a garage producer from Berlin, who got recommended by Whyrez.

29th March 2011

A rip from the Youngsta show in 29 April 2010. Great tune from Kryptic Minds. Sadly, it's unreleased. Also, Seizure sent me this yesterday. Pretty interesting tune, though I haven't heard the original. Here's also an download link from him: http://www.zshare.net/audio/8823761715546ea5/

28th March 2011

What a weekend. Today I got one Mala VIP and one remix by Widowmaker. Definitely liking the remix. "Wobble the gut" is one of my favorite Skream tunes because of that reverb-y lovelyness. I also got an extra video today. It's not dubstep or anything like that, but it's pretty fun. The good stuff begins at 1.00

Sorry for late post. I just came home and I only slept 2 hours this night!

Saturday, 26 March 2011

26th March 2011

Yes, I have had this one on the blog before, but that drop is awesome. I have also started to listen A LOT more to hip hop and rap, especially old school(think Wu Tang Clan and NWA) but I do also love British rap. Here's a new tune by Mic Righteous. Even if you don't like hip hop, I suggest you would check out those lyrics.

25th March 2011

New Burial, coming out 28th March 2011. Tracklist: "Stolen Dog", "Street Halo" and "NYC". However, as Kode9 said in the radio show, they will not play NYC. I like "Stolen Dog" a lot more, Street Halo isn't bad but. The thing I like about this EP is that it's not necessarily Burial, he's really trying out new and fresh stuff! There is also rumours about a new Burial album, can't wait to hear that.

Thursday, 24 March 2011

24th March 2011

Today I got two remixes of "Midnight Request Line". First a VIP (varied idea by producer) by Skream. Yes, it's a radio rip but the VIP itself haven't been released. The other one is a remix by Digital Mystikz. Both of the tunes still got that evil sounding stuff to it that the original has.

Wednesday, 23 March 2011

23rd March 2011

First a tune by the Finnish producer Teeth. I'm unsure if I had have this track on my blog before, but it's good so. The next one is a from some mix, it's a dub called Left Right Left. Very special dubstep tune in my opinion. Thanks Blerim from DSF that he found this tune!

Tuesday, 22 March 2011

22nd March 2011

Wow, the time goes fast. It's soon summer! Also, my dad did actually check out my blog yesterday, and he kinda liked it! Today I got the vocal version of "Afterglow" by Phaeleh, and "The Knowledge" by Toasty, which is a very drum and bass influenced tune that was released in 2004!

Monday, 21 March 2011

21th March 2011

This one is the type of tune I call, a train. Because it just goes on and on, like a train. Really dark and nice. While the other tune is really a summer-y tune. Reminds me a bit of Skream's "Summer dream"(if it's called that?).

Sunday, 20 March 2011

20th March 2011

I gotta agree with one of the thumbed-up comments, "War drums vibes". A really strong tune, not as in a train coming at you but some how. The next one got some REALLY dark vibes. Why haven't I found out about this guy before.

Saturday, 19 March 2011

19th March 2011

The second tune from the new Burial + Four Tet feat. Thom Yorke collabo. Second one is from a Tempa release that I haven't heard about. It was released in December 2010. I have totally missed that one. Really liking the tune anyway. Feeling lots of Kryptic Minds in there.

Friday, 18 March 2011

18th March 2011

Some great samples in that one. Liking the purple album cover too. Next is a Flying Lotus track, which I have heard about but I haven't really gotten around to listen to his tracks. Pretty good.

Thursday, 17 March 2011

17th March 2011

Yes, I got one dubstep tune and one hip hop today. However this time it's some American hip hop and Swedish dubstep. Been a while since I heard any L-Wiz.

Wednesday, 16 March 2011

16th March 2011

Some new Burial + Four Tet feat. Thom Yorke. Whyrez did actually post it on his facebook. I have also heard rumours that it took 3 min to get sold out. I also got some UK hip hop, since my friend requested it.

Tuesday, 15 March 2011

15th March 2011

A tune that I thought of putting on the blog before but I have just forgotten. Summer vibes. I also got a new tune from some one more or less unknown to me.

Monday, 14 March 2011

14th March 2011

Once again, I got two chilled tunes. One really nice remix by Whyrez, and the other one a really chilled garage tune by Submerse.

I got two really chilled tunes today(as usual on Saturdays, haha). Also, I got new "rule" for my blog. I will sometimes post non-dubstep tunes(for example Aphex Twin but also other) to mix it up a bit, but dubstep is still my main priority.

Friday, 11 March 2011

11 March 2011

I've fallen in love with Goth Trad once again. I heard that he and VIVEK played an awesome set down in the DMZ last weekend. Anyway, both of these tunes are instant headnodders. I have actually had "Sunbeam" on my blog a long time ago.

10th March 2011

Jens Madsen - The Journey by JensMadsen

Some chilled dubstep from Denmark. He contacted me on dubstepforum.com(check out the thread about my blog there). Next tune is from a real life friend of mine. Some massive bass on this one. Well done Coppy. Can't wait to hear more tunes from these two up and coming producers!

TripTonite - Gundam Robots (Original Mix) 320 D/L by TripToniteMix

I have been listening to this one a lot the latest days. Didn't expect anything like this. Really good bass on this one. He also has a pretty interesting remix, which is okay. Can't wait to hear some new tunes from him!

distal - attempt at yellow (clouds remix) by CLOUDS

Two tracks from the Finnish duo called Clouds. Great, relaxing dubstep. Finnish dubstep is going forward, hard. Teeth played at boiler room and Clouds have released on Deep Medi!

Saturday, 5 March 2011

5th March 2011

Great track from the 5: Five years of Hyperdub. Also, if you haven't checked out the recordings in the Boiler Room, check them OUT. Lots of great stuff there, and since it's DMZ 6th birthday today Mala, Loefah and Coki will be playing recording some time tonight in 16 hours(2am for us Finns). Here some DMZ live.

4th March 2011

As I said before, sorry for the late post. I bought 70 tracks off iTunes yesterday, and I was especially looking forward to hear the "new" Horsepower Productions(it was released 25th of November 2010). There was some greats tunes on that one. These are two of my favorites at the moment.

Thursday, 3 March 2011

3rd March 2011

Not dubstep, but I'm liking it anyways. Next one is a classic. I'm pushing the garage influenced today. Now I gotta run.

Wednesday, 2 March 2011

2nd March 2011

I have heard lots about Breakage, but I haven't really liked the songs before. But yesterday I went on a hunt to find some more good tracks by him and I found these. I'm liking the idea of a female singer on the track called "Justified". Loving the synths on "Morning Star" and the D'n'B drums.

Tuesday, 1 March 2011

1th March 2011

Oh my, the time goes fast. It's gonna be summer soon! Today I got some Mala, which doesn't sound like Mala. Can't wait to hear that track in the summer! I also got a Four Tet track, but in the description it says Four Tet/Mala, but I don't know.

Monday, 28 February 2011

28th February 2011

Wasn't expecting this. Pretty chilled but still not, more like laid back. Next is a dub from Goth-Trad. Massive power in this one, like a train or something. Would have been nice to hear the whole thing but.

Sunday, 27 February 2011

27th February 2011

New Skream that's being mastered this week, but I haven't found any release dates. He got some real bangers on this one. The tracklist is in the same order as the videos is now. Some short words about the tunes in my opinion(But I still have to hear the full tunes so):

Seasick, it's okay, but I don't like it that much.

Heavy hitter, oh my. Massive. Instant headnodder. I would love to see the crowds reaction to this one. See, it can be big and "filthy" without being robotic and without bass. Feeling this a lot.

Riggin(there's a spelling error in the video), I have heard this one before and I've had it on the blog too. Instat headnodder once again. Feeling this one too.

Hats off, a drum and bass influenced tune. Skream have started to make a lot of those, but the problem is that they all sound very alike. It's okay, pretty summer-y if you ask me(which is always a plus for me).

Overall, can't wait to hear the full tunes. It's still Skream: simple and effective, and that's what's good about him.
